2. Our Services

The exact scope of work depends on the service or package purchased.

The description displayed on our website at the time of purchase will form part of the agreement between you and us.

Additional work outside the scope of the purchased package may require an additional fee.

We may clarify the scope of a project with you before beginning work.

3. Information You Provide

You are responsible for providing accurate and sufficient information for us to complete the service.

Depending on the service, this may include:

  • Amazon ASIN

  • Product listing URL

  • Product information and specifications

  • Target marketplace

  • Brand information

  • Existing keywords or research

  • Product images

  • Relevant competitor information

  • Other information reasonably required to perform the service

You are responsible for ensuring that information supplied to us is accurate and that you have the right to provide and use any materials submitted.

Delays in providing required information may delay delivery.

4. Amazon Account Access

Unless specifically agreed otherwise, our listing audit and optimisation services do not require your Amazon Seller Central password.

You should never send passwords or sensitive account credentials through ordinary website forms or email unless secure access arrangements have specifically been agreed.

Where account access is required for a separately agreed service, the scope and method of access will be agreed with you beforehand.

5. Prices and Payment

Prices displayed on our website are stated in British pounds (£) unless otherwise indicated.

The current starting packages may include:

Amazon Listing Audit — £49

Listing Optimisation — £149

Complete Listing Package — £299

The price and scope shown at checkout at the time you place your order will apply to your purchase.

Payment may be required in full before work begins unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Delivery

Delivery times may vary depending on the service purchased, project complexity and whether all required information has been supplied.

Any estimated turnaround time displayed on our website or communicated to you is an estimate unless we expressly agree to a guaranteed deadline in writing.

We will make reasonable efforts to complete work within the stated timeframe.

7. Revisions

Where revisions are included in a package, they apply to reasonable changes within the original agreed scope.

A revision does not constitute a completely new listing, product, strategy or project.

Requests that materially change the original brief or require substantial additional work may be charged separately.

The number of included revisions, where applicable, will be stated in the relevant package description or agreed before work begins.

8. Results and No Guarantee

We aim to provide high-quality, commercially useful recommendations and optimisation work.

However, we do not guarantee any particular:

  • Increase in sales

  • Conversion rate

  • Search ranking

  • Keyword ranking

  • Advertising performance

  • Revenue or profit

  • Amazon visibility

  • Featured Offer/Buy Box status

  • Account performance

Amazon performance depends on many factors outside our control, including pricing, competition, reviews, advertising, inventory, product demand, account health, Amazon algorithms and marketplace conditions.

Our services should therefore be understood as professional optimisation and advisory services rather than a guarantee of commercial results.

9. Amazon Policies

Amazon is an independent third party and is not affiliated with Flash Light Commerce.

We aim to provide services based on available information and generally applicable Amazon practices, but Amazon may change its policies, algorithms, requirements or platform functionality at any time.

The client remains responsible for ensuring that their products, claims, listings and Seller Central account comply with applicable Amazon policies and laws.

We are not responsible for Amazon suspending, restricting, removing or modifying a listing or seller account.

10. Client Approval and Implementation

Unless implementation is specifically included in the purchased service, recommendations and optimised content may be supplied to you for implementation.

You remain responsible for reviewing and approving content before publishing it.

You should verify product specifications, claims, dimensions, ingredients, certifications, safety information and other factual statements before publishing them on Amazon.

11. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of materials you provide to us.

Once full payment has been received, you may use the final listing copy and other bespoke deliverables created specifically for your project for your business purposes.

We retain ownership of our underlying methods, templates, systems, processes, know-how and other pre-existing intellectual property.

We may use general knowledge and experience gained while providing services to improve our processes, provided we do not disclose your confidential information.

12. Third-Party and AI-Assisted Tools

We may use professional research, productivity, analytics and AI-assisted tools as part of our workflow.

Such tools may assist with research, analysis, drafting or optimisation, but deliverables are prepared as part of our service rather than being presented as guaranteed outputs of any particular tool.

We remain responsible for delivering the service described in your purchased package, subject to these Terms.

13. Confidentiality

We will take reasonable steps to protect confidential business information you provide to us.

We will not intentionally disclose confidential information to unrelated third parties except where necessary to provide the service, operate our business, comply with the law or where you have authorised disclosure.

Information that is already publicly available, including public Amazon product listings, is not considered confidential merely because it relates to your business.

14. Portfolio and Case Studies

We will not present confidential client information as a public case study without appropriate permission.

Where we wish to display identifiable client work, testimonials or results for marketing purposes, we may request your consent.

Publicly available information may be referenced where lawful, but we will take reasonable care not to imply endorsement where none exists.

15. Cancellations and Refunds

If you purchase a service and wish to cancel before work has begun, contact us as soon as possible at hello@flashlightcommerce.com.

Refund eligibility will depend on whether work has commenced, the nature of the service and any applicable statutory rights.

Once substantial work has begun or a bespoke service has been completed and delivered, refunds may not normally be available except where required by law or where the service has not been provided with reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Consumers

If you are acting as a consumer, you may have a statutory right to cancel certain online service contracts within 14 days.

If you expressly request that we begin providing the service during the cancellation period, you may be required to pay for services supplied before you cancel.

If the service is fully performed during the cancellation period after you have expressly requested early performance and acknowledged the relevant consequences, your statutory cancellation right may be affected in accordance with applicable law.

16. Problems With a Service

If you believe there is a problem with work we have delivered, please contact us at:

hello@flashlightcommerce.com

Please explain the issue and provide relevant details.

We will make reasonable efforts to investigate legitimate concerns and, where appropriate, correct issues that fall within the agreed scope of the service.

17. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential business losses arising from decisions made based on our recommendations or from factors outside our reasonable control.

We are not responsible for losses resulting from inaccurate information supplied by the client, changes made by Amazon, third-party platforms, marketplace conditions or actions taken by the client after delivery.

Where legally permitted, our total liability arising from a particular service will not exceed the amount paid to us for that service.

18. Website Availability

We aim to keep our website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the website or our service offering where reasonably necessary.

19. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy should be read alongside these Terms & Conditions.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version applicable to an order will generally be the version in effect when that order was placed, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.

The latest version will be published on our website.

21. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to consumers.

Nothing in these Terms removes any rights regarding jurisdiction that a consumer may have under applicable law.
